Darlington A. Ahuble, CEM, has passion for implementing practical energy efficiency measures, renewable energy technologies and creating opportunities for sustainable energy use solutions. With over 20+ years technical and managerial experience in one the nation’s leading electric Utilities, he has strong interest in energy management and energy efficiency in commercial and industrial facilities. He has worked in leadership capacity, project development, project management and also provided technical lead roles on a number of projects.

Darlington has over the years developed his engineering professional career by working on various engineering projects, operation and maintenance of hydro and thermal power plants. He therefore considers energy efficiency as key to ensuring a safe, reliable, affordable and sustainable energy system for the future.

He has the desire to actively and openly share his expert knowledge and experience with his colleagues. He strives to mentor young engineers in the energy industry, coordinates and supports capacity building programs in their field of discipline. He is also a proponent for adherence to occupation health, safety and environmental standards in all spheres of life.

Darlington has an MSc degree in Sustainable Energy Engineering from Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana. He is a registered member and a Fellow of the Ghana Institution of Engineering (GhIE), a Certified Energy Manager(CEM) with the Association of Energy Engineers(AEE). He has also served on a number of Committees with GhIE.
